Scholarship
The GHAI 2021 Scholarship Program is an annual, merit-based competition that is open to college students and non-traditional students.
The scholarship recognizes students for their exemplary academic performance, leadership, and a demonstrated commitment to community service.
GHAI will award five scholarships in the range from $500 to $2,500.
Award Criteria
Global Health Alliance Institute Scholarship will be made on the following priorities:
- Academic Achievement
- Leadership Qualities
- Demonstrated Interest
The award may be used for tuition, room and board, books or any related educational expense.
Eligibility
Applicants must be college or adult students.
Applicants must complete the online application form including the required personal statement.
Submission Process
Each applicant must complete the Scholarship Application Form. In addition, the student must provide the following materials with the completed application. These documents must be received by 11:59 PM CST on Friday, August 20, 2021. All documentation can be submitted to scholarship@ghainstitute.org or mailed to:

1. Submit an essay of up to 300 words describing how the student’s academic achievement, leadership, and demonstrated interest enhance his/her career goals and enrich the lives of their family and/or community.
2. Provide supporting documentation, such as most recent unofficial transcript of his/her college grades, reference letter, resume, or description of the student’s extracurricular accomplishments, leadership qualities, family and/or community contributions, research projects, published articles, etc.
